Mira Schor

Mira Schor is a painter and writer living in New York. She is the recipient of awards in paintings from the Guggenheim, Pollock Krasner and Rockefeller Foundations, and the author of Wet: On Painting, Feminism, and Art Culture and A Decade of Negative Thinking: Essays on Art, Politics, and Daily Life and of the blog A Year of Positive Thinking. She is represented by CB1 Gallery in Los Angeles and Lyles & King Gallery in New York. She is a Part-time Associate Teaching Professor in the Fine Arts Program at Parsons The New School for Design .
